Okla. Stat. tit. 28, § 28-5: Penalty for charging fees on pensions

No person authorized to administer oaths, shall be allowed to

charge any discharged soldier or seaman, or widow, orphan or legal

representative thereof, any fee for administering any oath or the

giving of any certificate for the procuring of any pension, bounty,

or back pay, nor for administering any oath or oaths and giving the

certificate required upon any voucher for collection of periodical

dues from the pension agent for any services rendered in perfecting

any voucher; and any such officer who may charge any fee for any

such services shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and fined in

any sum not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than Twenty-five

Dollars ($25.00).
