Okla. Stat. tit. 47, § 47-226.1: Power of city or town to grant franchise

Any city or town of this state may, pursuant to and subject to

the applicable provisions of the Constitution and laws of Oklahoma,

grant to any person, firm or corporation a franchise for the

operation of auto buses, as herein defined, for the transportation

of passengers for hire within the corporate limits of said city or

town.
