Okla. Stat. tit. 56, § 56-114: Employment of nurses, etc

The board of county commissioners shall be authorized to employ

a suitable person or persons to care for such patients and quarters,

upon such terms and conditions as provided by law, and under such

restrictions as the board of county commissioners shall consider

most advantageous for the interests of their respective counties and

the welfare of the people therein.
