Okla. Stat. tit. 59, § 59-567.22: Licenses issued by other states that are a party to the

Nurse Licensure Compact – Same rights and obligations.

A. The terms "registered nurse" and "licensed practical nurse"

include persons licensed as registered nurses and/or

practical/vocational nurses by a state that is a party to the Nurse

Licensure Compact.

B. Unless the context indicates otherwise or doing so would be

inconsistent with the Nurse Licensure Compact, nurses practicing in

this state under a license issued by a state that is a party to the

Nurse Licensure Compact have the same rights and obligations as

imposed by the laws of this state on license holders of the Oklahoma

Board of Nursing.
