The Board of Medicolegal Investigations shall appoint a Chief
Medical Examiner who shall be a physician licensed to practice in
Oklahoma and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology or the
American Osteopathic Board of Pathology in forensic pathology. The
Chief Medical Examiner shall serve at the pleasure of the Board. In
addition to the duties prescribed by law, the Chief Medical Examiner
may teach in any educational capacity.
