Okla. Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1698.115: SPC Joshua D. Sheppard-Young Memorial Highway

The portion of State Highway 71 from the intersection of State

Highway 71 and State Highway 9 extending approximately nine (9)

miles to the intersection of State Highway 71 and State Highway 31

shall be designated as the “SPC Joshua D. Sheppard-Young Memorial

Highway”. Pursuant to the provisions of Title 69 of the Oklahoma

Statutes, the Department of Transportation shall cause suitable

permanent markers to be placed upon the highway bearing that name.
