Okla. Stat. tit. 69, § 69-1698.257: SPC Sonny Gene Sampler Memorial Highway

The portion of U.S. Highway 62 in Lawton beginning at the

intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and NW 82nd Street extending east to

the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 and Interstate 44 shall be

designated as the "SPC Sonny Gene Sampler Memorial Highway". The

Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers

bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
