ORS 341.309: Establishment of interstate taxing authority.

A community college district may enter into discussions with county governments or other similar county-wide public organizations in bordering states for the purpose of discussing the feasibility of establishing interstate taxing authority for the district through an interstate agreement entered into pursuant to ORS 190.410 to 190.440. Any such agreement shall be approved by the Legislative Assembly prior to taking effect.
