ORS 342.495: Holder of school nurse certificate qualified to conduct and coordinate health services program.

(1) The holder of a school nurse certificate issued under ORS 342.475 (1) to (3) is qualified to accept employment to conduct and coordinate the health services programs of any public school in the State of Oregon. A person licensed as a registered nurse may use the term “nurse” as part of a title when employed by a school.

      (2) No school or school district is required to employ as a nurse a person certified under ORS 342.475 (1) to (3).
