ORS 818.012: Wheel load on certain vehicles; rules.

The Department of Transportation may adopt rules approving tires for the use described in ORS 818.010 (5). In adopting the rules, the department shall consider the potential damage to highways caused by use of the tires and may reject a tire that otherwise meets the criteria of ORS 818.010 (5) if the department finds that the use of the tire would cause excessive damage to highways.
