73 Pa.C.S. § 3501: Township engineer.

(a) Appointment.--The board of commissioners may appoint and determine the compensation of a township engineer. The township engineer shall serve at the pleasure of the board of commissioners.

(b) Definition.--As used in this section, the term "engineer" means a registered professional engineer or firm of registered professional engineers.
