73 Pa.C.S. § 4335: Purchase and planting of trees.

The board of commissioners may accept, purchase and plant, or contribute to the purchase and planting of, shade trees and shrubs along the streets, highways and sidewalks of the township and exercise care, custody and control of shade trees in accordance with Chapter 73 (relating to parks, recreation centers, shade trees and forests).
