R.I. Gen. Laws § 16-53-1: Board established.

(a) Effective January 30, 2015, there is hereby established a Rhode Island board of trustees on career and technical education hereinafter referred to as the “board of trustees.”

(b) Effective January 30, 2015, all powers, rights, obligations, and duties of the Rhode Island state advisory council on vocational education shall be transferred to the Rhode Island board of trustees on career and technical education.
