R.I. Gen. Laws § 23-39-14: Penalties — Action to enforce chapter.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) A violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed a misdemeanor.

(b) The department may bring a civil action in any district court to enforce any provision of this chapter.
