R.I. Gen. Laws § 33-15-4.3: No cash surety required.

Notwithstanding the provisions of R.I.G.L. § 33-17-1.3, surety shall not be required on any bond of a good Samaritan guardian unless the probate court determines that the circumstances so warrant surety.
