R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-63.2-5: Organization and meetings of board.

The board shall organize immediately after the appointment and qualification of its members. The board shall annually elect a chairperson and secretary. Meetings may be called by the chairperson or the director of the department of health or by written request of four (4) members of the board. A majority of seats filled shall constitute a quorum; provided, that a clinical mental health counselor and a marriage and family therapist must be present. The board shall meet as often as necessary.
