R.I. Gen. Laws § 5-64.1-4: Certification required.

(a) No person may practice or hold himself or herself out as a certified dietary manager unless he or she is certified in accordance with the requirements of this chapter.

(b) Any person employed as a dietary manager on August 11, 1990, and who has been employed for a period of ten (10) years or more, is exempt from the certification requirements of this chapter.
