SDCL § 3-9-5.1: Authorization of out-of-state travel--Department of Legislative Audit and Legislative Research Council.

Officers and employees of the Department of Legislative Audit and the Legislative Research Council may incur traveling and personal expenditures outside the boundaries of this state by and with the written consent of the chair of the Executive Board of the Legislative Research Council.
