SDCL § 32-2-2: Bond of superintendent--Payment of premium.

The superintendent of the highway patrol shall furnish bond in such form as required by and in such amount as may be designated by the Department of Public Safety, such bond to be approved by the attorney general and filed with the secretary of state. The premium for such bond shall be paid out of funds appropriated for such Division of Highway Patrol.
