SDCL § 32-3A-13: Expiration and renewal of registration and validation decals.

Each registration and validation decal shall expire on the last day of the month of the year for which it was issued. The boat shall be registered in the same manner as motor vehicles pursuant to §§ 32-5-2.2 and 32-5-2.6. The registration may be renewed by the owner and new validation decals obtained as provided in § 32-3A-4.
