SDCL § 34-47-4: Liability of consolidated fire protection district and ambulance district.

If any ambulance district organized pursuant to chapter 34-11A or rural fire protection district organized pursuant to chapter 34-31A is consolidated pursuant to this chapter, such consolidation may not impair, affect, or discharge any contract, obligation, lien, or change for or upon which it might be liable had such consolidation not been made.
