SDCL § 36-15-20.1: Lapsed licenses and renewals--Reinstatement--Promulgation of rules--Fee.

The commission shall promulgate rules, in accordance with chapter 1-26, concerning the reinstatement of a lapsed license and a lapsed renewal, as provided for in this chapter. The commission shall promulgate rules, in accordance with chapter 1-26, to establish a fee that may be no greater than forty dollars for each year the license or renewal has lapsed. The commission shall also collect the fee for the license and renewal, as provided for in this chapter.
