SDCL § 59-7-2: Termination where power of agent not coupled with an interest.

Unless the power of the agent is coupled with an interest in the subject of the agency, an agency is terminated as to every person having notice thereof by:

(1) Revocation by the principal;

(2) Death of the principal; or

(3) His incapacity to contract.
