Tenn. Code Ann. § 33-6-612: Failure to appear where no affidavit by qualified mental health professional

IF (1) the qualified mental health professional has not filed an affidavit with the court regarding the person with mental illness or serious emotional disturbance, AND (2) the person does not respond to the order to appear, THEN (3) the court shall order the person taken into custody, AND (4) the officer who serves the order on the person shall take the person to the qualified mental health professional or the professional's appointed substitute. IF
