Tenn. Code Ann. § 48-103-501: Short title - Applicability

(a) This part shall be known and may be cited as the "Tennessee Greenmail Act."

(b) The requirements of this part shall be applicable to any corporation chartered under the laws of Tennessee which has a class of voting stock registered or traded on a national securities exchange or registered with the securities and exchange commission pursuant to § 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ( 15 U.S.C. § 781 l (g)),as amended.
