Tenn. Code Ann. § 49-3-353: Distribution of TISA funds

(a) In order for any local public school system to receive TISA funds, the system shall meet the conditions and requirements set out in this section. In order to enforce the conditions and requirements, the commissioner may, in the commissioner's discretion, withhold a portion or all of the TISA funds that the system is otherwise eligible to receive.

(b) Every local public school system shall meet the requirements of state law as to the operation of the system and of the rules, regulations, and minimum standards of the state board for the operation of schools.
