Tenn. Code Ann. § 56-7-1403: Applicability

(a) The requirements of this part apply to policies delivered or issued for delivery in the state on or after January 1, 1989.

(b) This part is not intended to supersede the obligations of entities subject to this part, to comply with the substance of other applicable insurance laws, insofar as they do not conflict with this part.
