Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-76-201: Part definitions

As used in this part: (1) "Apprenticeship" means a program that: (A) Meets the federal guidelines set out in 29 CFR Part 29 and 29 U.S.C. § 50 ; and (B) Complies with this part and the guidelines established pursuant to § 62-76-202 ; (2) "Licensing authority" means any state agency with the authority to impose training, education, or licensure fees to practice in a profession; and (3) "State agency" means a state board, agency, or commission attached to the division of regulatory boards, as listed in § 4-3-1304(a) . Amended by 2018 Tenn. Acts, ch. 848, s 1, eff. 1/1/2019. Added by 2014 Tenn. Acts, ch. 881, s 1, eff. 5/1/2014.

As used in this part:
