Tenn. Code Ann. § 7-40-112: Application of chapter to certain border region retail tourism development districts

This chapter shall only apply to border region retail tourism development districts for which a certified copy of the ordinance required by § 7-40-104(a)(2) , along with the request for certification required by § 7-40-104(a)(3) , has been filed with the commissioner before January 1, 2012. It is the legislative intent that modifications made to this chapter on or after July 1, 2024, do not apply to a project or extraordinary retail or tourism facility initiated prior to July 1, 2024.
