Tenn. Code Ann. § 70-4-209: Purchase or sale of red fox hides, furs or pelts

(a) (1) It is unlawful to buy or sell green hides, raw furs or pelts of a red fox, except as provided in subsection (b) or in counties open to the lawful taking of red fox. (2) A violation of this subsection (a) is a Class C misdemeanor.
