SUBCHAPTER B. POWERS AND DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT

The department may collect samples and perform testing or contract with a laboratory for the performance of that collection and testing on behalf of the department. A test performed by a laboratory on behalf of the department is considered to be performed by the department for purposes of this chapter.
