- SUBCHAPTER A. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORS
An elector candidate may withdraw from the presidential election before presidential election day, by delivering written notice of the withdrawal to:
(1) the secretary of state; and
(2) the state chair of the party that nominated the elector candidate or to the independent or write-in candidate for president who named the elector candidate.
