(a) An application under Section 356.151 must:

(1) describe the livestock sought to be sold; and

(2) state why granting the application is necessary or to the estate's advantage.

(b) The court:

(1) shall promptly consider the application; and

(2) may hear evidence for or against the application, with or without notice, as the facts warrant.
