Tex. Finance Code § 13.012: SUNSET PROVISION.

The office of savings and mortgage lending commissioner and the Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending are subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter, the office and department are abolished September 1, 2031.
