Tex. Finance Code § 14.001: DEFINITIONS.

Where this section sits in the code

(a) In this chapter:

(1) "Document" includes books, accounts, correspondence, records, and papers.

(2) "Office" means the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner.

(b) The definitions provided by Section 341.001 apply to this chapter.
