Tex. Finance Code § 303.405: EXAMINATION OF RECORDS; INSPECTIONS; RULES.

(a) Section 342.552 applies to a transaction:

(1) that is made by a person who holds a license under Chapter 342;

(2) that is subject to Chapter 342 or 346; and

(3) the rate of which is authorized by this chapter.

(b) Subchapter L, Chapter 342, applies to a loan:

(1) that is subject to Chapter 342; and

(2) the rate of which is authorized by this chapter.
