Tex. Finance Code § 62.207: EFFECT OF ISSUANCE OF CHARTER.

On the issuance of a charter by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the association:

(1) ceases to be an association incorporated under this subtitle; and

(2) is no longer subject to the supervision and control of the commissioner.
