SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

(a) Except as specifically provided by this chapter, this chapter does not affect laws, rules, or decisions relating to the confidentiality or privileged status of categories of information or communications.

(b) This chapter does not enlarge the right of state government to require information, records, or communications from the people.
