Tex. Government Code § 30.00565: CLERK; OTHER PERSONNEL.

(a) The city manager of the town shall appoint a clerk of the municipal court of record who may hire, direct, and remove the personnel authorized in the town's annual budget for the clerk's office. The clerk shall perform the duties in accordance with statutes, the town charter, and town ordinances.

(b) Sections 30.00009(c) and (d) do not apply to this subchapter.
