SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Except as expressly provided by this title, a dealer, agent, investment adviser, or investment adviser representative may not by public display or advertisement use the fact that the person is registered under this title, the person's registration certificate or evidence of registration, or a certified copy of the certificate or evidence of registration in connection with any sale or effort to sell any security or any rendering of services as an investment adviser.
