Tex. Government Code § 411.001: DEFINITIONS.

In this chapter:

(1) "Commission" means the Public Safety Commission.

(2) "Department" means the Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas.

(3) "Director" means the public safety director.

(4) "Internet" means the largest nonproprietary nonprofit cooperative public computer network, popularly known as the Internet.
