  5. SUBCHAPTER D. PLANNING AND DELIVERY OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

To integrate and streamline service delivery and facilitate access to services, the executive commissioner may:

(1) request a health and human services agency to take a specific action; and

(2) recommend the manner for accomplishing the streamlining, including requesting each agency to:

(A) simplify or automate agency procedures;

(B) coordinate service planning and management tasks between and among health and human services agencies;

(C) reallocate staff resources;

(D) waive existing rules; or

(E) take other necessary actions.
