- SUBCHAPTER J. USE OF TECHNOLOGY TO DETECT, INVESTIGATE, AND PREVENT FRAUD, ABUSE, AND OVERCHARGES
The commission may contract with a contractor who specializes in developing technology capable of identifying fraud patterns exhibited by Medicaid recipients to:
(1) develop and implement the fraud detection technology; and
(2) determine whether a fraud pattern by Medicaid recipients is present in the recipients' eligibility files the commission maintains.
