The commission with any necessary assistance of pediatric tele-specialty providers shall establish a pediatric tele-connectivity resource program for rural Texas to award grants to rural hospitals and rural health clinics to connect the hospitals and clinics with pediatric specialists and pediatric subspecialists who provide telemedicine medical services or with an institution of higher education that is a member of the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium established under Chapter 113, Health and Safety Code.
