SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, an institution of higher education, as defined by Section 61.003, Education Code, participating in a group benefits program under Chapter 1551, Insurance Code, may participate under this chapter only in a deferred compensation plan described by Subchapter C.
