  5. SUBCHAPTER H. JUDICIAL PANEL ON MULTIDISTRICT LITIGATION

(a) Notwithstanding any other law, the judicial panel on multidistrict litigation may not transfer:

(1) an action brought by the consumer protection division of the attorney general's office under Subchapter E, Chapter 17, Business & Commerce Code; or

(2) an action brought under Chapter 36, Human Resources Code.

(b) Repealed by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., 2nd C.S., Ch. 7 (H.B. 16), Sec. 12.11(5), eff. December 4, 2025.
