Tex. Government Code § 854.007: LIMITATION ON PAYMENT OF BENEFITS.

If the amount of a benefit payment under this subtitle would exceed the limitations provided by Section 415, Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and its subsequent amendments, and the regulations adopted under that section, the retirement system shall reduce the amount of the benefit to comply with that section.
