SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas is subject to Chapter 325, Government Code (Texas Sunset Act). Unless continued in existence as provided by that chapter, the institute is abolished and this chapter expires September 1, 2035.

Added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 137 (S.B. 5), Sec. 1, eff. December 1, 2025, subject to resolution of an election contest under Chapter 233, Election Code, relating to Article III, Section 68, Texas Constitution.
