SUBCHAPTER F. SPECIAL PROVISIONS CONCERNING LOW-LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL

The commission shall cooperate with and encourage the use of interstate compacts, including the Southern States Energy Board, to develop regional sites that divide among the states the disposal burden of low-level radioactive waste generated in the region.
