Tex. Insurance Code § 1201.204: POLICY PROVISIONS REQUIRED BY OTHER JURISDICTION.

An individual accident and health insurance policy of a foreign or alien insurer may contain any provision that is:

(1) not less favorable to the insured or the beneficiary than the provisions of this chapter; and

(2) prescribed or required by the law of the state under which the insurer is organized.
